Title: Solitons and Applications
Abstract: Solitons are interesting non-perturbative solutions of nonlinear integrable wave equations which behave as stable, localized wave packets. Topological solitons admit conserved topological charges which are conserved during interactions. In this talk, I present basics of soliton theory and explain some interesting results for the interaction of solitons. Finally, I will briefly discuss some important applications of the soliton theory.
